SportsSnoop Dogg and Martha Stewart Take in Dressage Final at Paris Olympics

Rapper and sports enthusiast Snoop Dogg made an unexpected yet stylish appearance at the Paris Olympics, donning full equestrian attire to watch the dressage final at the Palace of Versailles. Joined by his unlikely friend, lifestyle guru Martha Stewart, Snoop embraced the equestrian spirit with a breeches, a dressage tailcoat, and a hard hat, complete with sunglasses and an ‘S’ emblem on his jacket.

Snoop and Stewart were driven to the stands in a golf cart, ready to witness the high-level dressage competition. The rapper, known for his love of diverse sports, expressed his enthusiasm for the equestrian event during an NBC appearance. “I am interested in the horses that dance,” he said, adding with his signature charm, “I want to give them some carrots and apples… make sure they’re fed before they do their thang.”

The dressage team grand prix special proved to be an eventful morning for Snoop and Stewart. Team GB’s Becky Moody delivered a standout performance with her horse, Jagerbomb, leading the first round. Ultimately, Moody and her teammates, Carl Hester and Charlotte Fry, secured a commendable third place, trailing behind Germany and Denmark.

Snoop’s involvement in the Paris Olympics extended beyond the dressage arena. He has been actively supporting various events, including cheering for Team USA gymnast Simone Biles while sporting a T-shirt emblazoned with her face. Additionally, he attended beach volleyball and judo events and had the honor of carrying the Olympic Torch on its final day through the streets of Paris.

Reflecting on his role in the torch relay, Snoop shared, “Something I’m gonna be able to live with and be happy with [is] to know that I was the face and the voice of peace for that one moment in time.” His presence and spirited participation have added a unique flavor to the Games, showcasing his diverse interests and support for Olympic athletes.
